so tonight instead of league practice, it was the AGM (annual general meeting). it was very short. the new board was introduced, the next league meeting was announced, tickets for the June 25th game were taken out, and most importantly (to me anyway) the draft was announced.

I tried out at the end of Sept/ beginning of Oct. i passed the WFTDA benchmark test and became a Siren on the Siren Squad. this was the first year that the league had a Siren Squad. it consists of girls who have JUST passed their test, transfers, people coming back from LOAs, and girls who don’t have enough time to commit to a team.

Its the team I was secretly leaning towards, and I’m really happy they picked me. ^_^ yayayayayay!!!!!! Also, I have a lot of black and green, which are the team colours, so that works out :)

Yet, at the same time I feel a little sad that the Sirens got split up. My wifey is on team pink! But at least we still get to go to monday practices and thursday scrimmages together. :)
